High rout at Rein in Taufers

The tour starts at the village church of Rein in Taufers. Trail n. 10 takes you up to a couple of sheperd's huts, locally referred to as the 'Lobiser Schupfen'. Follow now the path n. 1A, wich leads you to the Durra Alm, and further to the Knuttenalm, offering spectacular views. Once you reach the Durra Alm, your mouth will be watering at the sight and smell of home-made dumplings, fresh milk, local cheese specialties and, if you like, a refreshing beer. Weather and physical condition permitting, you can continue to the Knuttenalm, another place worth visiting at the foot of the three-thousanders standing like beads on a string. Eventually, follow the gravel road back to the starting point.
