Lake Braies

This lake is characterised by its unique position in the north of the nature park Fanes-Sennes-Braies.

It is a starting point for numerous hiking tours among a fascinating panorama view. If you prefer pleasant walks you can walk round the lake and enjoy the imposing mountain peaks. During a romantic rowing boat trip you will completely forget everyday life and enjoy the beauty of the fairytale-like scenery.

The main road along the valley Prags/Braies remains closed in the summer from 10 am until 3 pm. The lake is reachable by feet, by bike or by pubblic transport (bus n. 442), which costs 3€ (the Holiday Pass is not valid!). For futher information we kindly ask you to get in touch with the reception.
