South Tyrol Musuem of Archaeology

Learn everything worth knowing about the Iceman, who was discovered quite by chance in 1991 in the heights of the Schnalstal. In the exhibition centre you will find the mummy and the unique artefacts that were found with it: his fur and leather clothing, his weapons and tools tell us about his life, his battles and his suffering and open up a unique window on day-to-day life in Copper Age.
There is a separate area where you can take a look at one of the world's most famous mummies.
